Who am I?
Hi. My name is Mike, obvious to some I hope.
You've found someone who likes making things.
I am an information architect, interaction designer and doodler in the heat and deadly humidity of Florida. I have to admit that my status as a Floridian is questionable at best due to my undying love of my homestate, the place for lovers we all know as Virginia. Northern Virginia actually, NoVA to those who are lucky enough to hail from the area.
When I’m not fainting from the heat, I’m usually drawing boxes and arrows and solving one web-related problem or another. When that gets a little much, I've usually got my head in a book, magazine, or something dealing with design of some sort. I honestly live, eat, and breathe this stuff. Oh, and I must admit to my iTunes store addiction, it gets worse every day but there's just so much good music going around these days!
In my spare time, you could find me watching movies, reading, sleeping, rocking the Wii or going to see great music. If I had inherited huge amounts of wealth, I'd probably spend most of it following bands around and finding new ones along the way.
